Become a Foster Parent (Volunteer)
There are over 15,000 children in the State of Michigan who are in foster care and, unfortunately, more children are being removed from their homes every day. We need your help in providing safe and loving homes for children in your community.
Give hope. Become a foster parent.
You must be 18 years of age or older, your income must be adequate to meet your own familys needs, you may own or rent your home/apartment, must have adequate bedroom space (40 square feet per person in a bedroom), and you must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Prospective foster parents are required to take each of the training classes listed below prior to becoming licensed with Judson Center:
