Budget Analyst IIIDept of State Health Services - Austin, TXBudget Analyst III Performs complex budget preparation and financial analysis work. The work involves the examining, reviewing, and analyzing operating budgets; compiling statistics and reports relating to budgetary activities; preparing and revising legislative appropriation requests; and providing technical advice and assistance to department staff on budgetary matters. Uses a variety of software applications including HHSAS, HRMS, Access, Excel, and Word to perform essential job functions. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
