Mentors (Volunteer)Yes House - Gillette, WYImpact Youth Mentoring is a service provided by Youth Emergency Services, Inc. (YES House) which matches at-risk children in the community with positive adult mentors. Mentors come from all ages, cultures and interest groups. Children are asked to complete an application process and interest inventory. The adult mentors are also asked to complete an application, a thorough screening, interviewing, and training process before they are matched with a child. Mentors are asked to commit a minimum of one hour per week with the child they are mentoring. The YES House performs routine follow-up evaluations on every mentor match that is made.
