Collections OfficerAssociated Credit Union of Texas - La Marque, TXThe first and foremost responsibility of the Credit Department is to control and limit delinquent accounts. Duties: 1. Maintain proper collection procedures. 2. Oversee the collection of insufficient checks that are cashed or deposited at the credit unionup to and including court filings in the collection process. 3. Weekly mail out delinquent notices to makers and co-makers; send demand letters by certified/registered mail on seriously delinquent loans; review exceptions report and correct any error. 4. Responsible for proper, legal repossession of collateral, its upkeep while in the credit unions possession, the legal disposition of that collateral, and maintaining accurate record to support any action taken. 5.
