The 57bed ED has 9 critical care rooms, extensive subspecialty backup that includes an oncall trauma surgeon and respiratory therapist, and a CT scan dedicated to the ED. The annual ED volume is 45,500 with 48 hours of physician coverage and 18 hours of MLP coverage a day in the main ED. Additionally, 24 hours of pediatric physician coverage is provided, and 8 to 12 hours per day of pediatric PA or NP coverage is available for 10,000 pediatric visits seen annually.
