Financial Liaison
The Network seeks a Treasurer-in-Training for our board. Anyone with the ability to work with spreadsheets and who has a mind for setting and reaching goals will be able to perform this function, and you'll be able to work with our current Treasurer through Summer 2010. Requirements: Meet periodically with our fiscal agent, who does the Network's accounting. Review monthly income/expense and financial statements; distribute to board and provide big picture overview at meeting. Serve as an officer of the board of directors, attending monthly meetings and Executive Committee advisory meetings. Work with staff and fiscal agent to prepare annual budget in June and to strategize about revenue. Requires about 10 hours per month of document review, meetings, and planning.
