Marketing Communications SpecialistUniversity of Chicago Medical Center - Chicago, ILJOB SUMMARY The Marketing and Communications Specialist works closely with the marketing and communications staff within UCMC and the University to develop, implement and evaluate marketing and public affairs plans and initiatives for the Department of Surgery. Manages all aspects of projects relating to marketing, communications, and public outreach. Creates strategies to achieve goals while tracking and evaluating an active marketing budget. Performs studies and presents progress reports and results as requested. Regularly communicates with department and service leaders to discuss marketing needs and priorities, and assures that all plans and materials are consistent with and supportive of the larger institutional marketing strategy.
