Sales and Use Tax Accountant - MLRobert Half Finance & Accounting - Norcross, GAOur client based in Norcross is looking for a Property Tax Accountant to join their team. They will be responsible for the accurate and timely collection, verification, analysis and preparation of approximately 1,000 state and local sales/use tax returns annually, As well as filing approximately 500 business licenses renewals annually. The Analyst will be responsible for collecting all tax audit related information, proactively evaluate tax exposure and develop audit strategies to defend tax positions. Additionally, the Analyst will review preliminary/final work papers, create work plans to reduce assessments, and make recommendations to manager. Research all issues and determine appropriate resolution to notice as well to the process that generated the notice.
