Maui Memorial Hospital is a 224-bed facility with an annual ED patient volume of 35,000 visits. The ED has an extensive call list, supportive nursing staff, in-house MRI, CT, Cardiac Cath Lab and tele-radiology. This facility is the only hospital on the island; therefore, the ED sees a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. 36 hours of physician coverage per day (8, 9 & 10 hr shifts with no MLP?s). Qualifications are BC Emergency Medicine with at least three yearsof full time ED experience. EmCare offers an "A" rated malpractice insurance program with no tail obligation upon departure.
