The position is paid at the teacher salary level, based on recognized teaching expertise in the field of literacy and experience leading an effective school improvement effort. This individual is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of instructional reform at the school site. This is a one-year position. Teachers have the right to return to their previous site should they choose to, or are not re-elected for the succeeding year.
