NDT Engineer 3
Northrop Grumman Marine Systems specializes in the development; manufacturing, assembly and testing of missile launching and handling systems, propulsion, and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines. Perform as the backup to the site NDT Level III. Set-up and conduct nondestructive tests, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic and Radiographic methods to determine acceptability. Establish testing procedures and methods, such as shooting sketches. Monitor manufacturing processes and Operations, and conduct tests and inspections to assure compliance. Weld visual inspection experience. VT, PT, MT, UT, RT and ET Level III Certification required. Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
