Network Support EngineerModis - Atlanta, GAModis is currently seeking a Network Support Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with our client in the Atlanta, GA area. This contract role is expected to start immediately and last for 24 months. JOB DESCRIPTION The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for providing Tier 2 technical support on a high-availability production network. This role will include providing configuration and management for Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches and Network Security devices to include Cisco PIX Firewalls, Cisco Firewall Services Module (FWSM)and IDS / IPS Technologies. Candidates should be able to make changes to firewall ACLs as well as perform IOS upgrades on FWSM and Cisco Switches.
