POLICE CADET
Are you between the ages of 17 and a half and 20 years old and interested in preparing for a law enforcement career? Police Cadets provide entry level support services in the Police Department as a preparatory step towards future employment as a sworn police officer. Work includes assisting members of the public where appropriate and performing support work for the various divisions within the department, usually on a rotational basis. Requires a high school degree or GED, or be scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2010. Must possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets City standards.
