Military Veteran SpeakerResource Center For Nonviolence - Santa Cruz, CAWe are looking for Military Veterans, who are interested in speaking at local high schools about their experiences with military. There are at least three presenters speaking during each presentation. Truth in Recruiting Network of Santa Cruz County (TIRN) was formed in 2008 to counter the growing presence of military recruiters in our local high schools. The group regularly tables alongside military recruiters at local high schools and offers classroom presentations featuring veterans of war who speak to students about their experiences with the military. TIRN welcomes volunteers from the community to join in this work.
