ALS Walk Fundraising Committee ? Mankato, MN (Volunteer)
The Walk to Defeat ALS is The ALS Association's national signature event. Each year, over 65,000 people including ALS patients, families, friends, and corporate leaders join together to raise funds in support of The Associations cutting-edge research and community-based patient services programs.
Help plan the Walk to Defeat ALS in Rochester by becoming a committee member! Committee members will work on the following projects.
- Walk Sponsors - Secure corporate and local sponsors to offset costs of the Walk. Familiarize potential sponsors of the benefits of being involved in the Walk.
- Food - Secure food and beverages to be served at the Walk.
- Entertainment - Procure donated talent of DJs, clowns, balloon makers, photographers, etc.
- Publicity - Contact media (radio, TV, newspapers)...
