Technical Writer-EditorFederal Aviation Administration - Washington, DCThe incumbent of this position will provide technical writing, editing, and publication support for the Aircraft Engineering Division, AIR-100. Edits regulatory documents, advisory circulars, notices of proposed rulemaking, technical standard orders, etc. through to completion and issuance, in consultation with subject-matter experts, program officials, general counsel, and management officials for the purpose of ensuring materials are grammatically correct, editorially sound, and meet FAA documentation and guidance, which will be provided. Prepares, or edits, briefing materials and presentations on Division programs for use by upper level management within the agency as well as with individuals at the national and international levels.
