Texas A&M University-Commerce invites applications for the position of Head of the Department of Mathematics. This is a full-time, tenure track faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or above. The position start date is flexible, preferably on or before July 1, 2010. The candidate must have a doctorate in mathematics with a strong record of and commitment to teaching. Candidates are expected to exhibit a strong commitment to scholarship and research in mathematics and mathematics education. Administrative experience is desirable.
