Mechanical Engineer I-II, FluidsASRC Aerospace - Kennedy Space Center, FLJOB DESCRIPTION/POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and designs complex cryogenic, pneumatic, hypergolic, and hydraulic systems for a launch complex. Ensures facility compliance with ASME B31.3, Process Piping. Participates in multiple concurrent planning and development efforts for system architecture. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, SPECIAL TRAINING: Experience in design and operations of process piping systems. Experience in process system operations, testing, and maintenance. Experience in the design of pressure piping, including design calculations for pressure, sustained and occasional loads, and piping flexibility. Proficiency in Pro/E or equivalent CAD/CAE programs. Experience with process piping design/analysis software (Algor, ProE, CATIA, etc.). Experience using MS Office products.
