Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - FYE 1040A Profession: Education/Training/Information -> Higher Education - Faculty Adjunct Faculty - FYE 1040A Dowling College's "First Year Experience" program is seeking adjunct faculty to teach one section of FYE 1040A, "Long Island's Environment: Past and Future", starting this Fall semester (begins September 8, 2009). A master's degree (or higher) in a physical science or a related field with related experience and / or knowledge is also necessary. The open section runs from 1:00pm, - 2:21 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays (at the Oakdale campus). The "First Year Experience" program at Dowling is meant to help ease first semester freshman into the college environment via a focus on skills through a theme.
