ABS - Assistant Professor, Department of SociologyRider University - Lawrenceville, NJThe Department of Sociology at Rider University seeks candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning September, 2010. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in quantitative research and will teach Research Methods as well as substantive courses. The primary substantive areas of interest are race/ethnicity and gender. Additional areas will be considered to the extent that they complement the current strengths of the Department. Candidates should be committed to excellence in teaching undergraduates and show promise of ongoing scholarship. The applicant is expected to have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
