Director of Music MinistryBethany Presbyterian Church - Brookline, MABrookline, MADirector of Music MinistryPosition Description Purpose: To help coordinate, plan, and lead the weekly music component of our congregations worship.Responsibilities: Coordinate, plan and help lead weekly worship music in close collaboration with pastor and Music Team. Facilitate weekly rehearsal of the Music Team, cultivating Team members gifts and abilities. Help to call forth the musical gifts of the larger congregation to be offered up in worship, e.g., by scheduling and assisting with special music offerings (such as during weekly offertory or communion) and directing other endeavors (possibly choral or a cappella offerings).
