Applied Biosystems - San Mateo, CAMajor responsibilities include providing engineering and facilities support for our manufacturing operation, including design and implementation of manufacturing systems for consumable products, assisting with the qualification of new production equipment and facilities, and managing engineering and facilities projects to support manufacturing operations. This position work with development staff, manufacturing managers, and outside vendors to design, specify, implement, document and qualify manufacturing systems for consumable (liquid and solid) reagents. This position will also have a critical role in troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of consumables manufacturing equipment, including pumps, solid and liquid processing systems, and packaging equipment.
