Online News EditorWithheld - Tallahassee, FLA new Tallahassee-based news service with a commitment to fair and balanced political reporting is seeking an online editor who has the leadership, journalism and technical skills to manage our Web site. This position requires a deep, varied skill set, including strong people skills, ability to work under pressure, strong news judgment, sense of urgency, high-end editing skills, technical Internet ability, initiative and leadership ability, and problem-solving ability. The successful applicant will report to the content editor. He or she will direct a full-time assistant/reporter and a stable of stringers. Knowledge of video editing, html, and Photoshop is helpful.
