CLINICAL NURSE II EndoscopyDuke University Health System - North CarolinaResponsible for coordinating continuum of care activities for patients in the Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy Unit. Connecting all facets of the Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy units, Duke Health System, Primary Care Physicians, and patient and family members to provide a more complete healthcare plan. Provide guidance to the GI/Pulmonary HUB schedulers regarding patient and/or procedure issues. Provide comprehensive telephone triage and clinical assessment service to patients and families using agreed upon protocols to reach a safe and effective treatment decision. Coordinate with bed control and communicate for timely transfer and appropriate bed assignment. Assist in reviewing and coordinating Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy procedure schedules.
