Volunteer Opportunity - Adult Literacy Tutor

Interested in helping out in our community? Our area has an average low literacy rate of 11%, which is about 1 out of every 10 people. We are in need of volunteers to help these adults with literacy (reading, writing, comprehension) so they can pursue employment, more enriching day-to-day activities, reading to their children, and/or greater self-esteem. We can definitely work with your busy schedule so please consider volunteering! Position Description: Volunteer tutors with GoodSkills Literacy Corps will tutor one or more participants in basic literacy, numeracy, and/or basic computing skills.
