Loan SpecialistFirst Horizon National - Los Altos, CAJOB SUMMARY The Loan Specialist is responsible for the administration of mortgage loans, including but not limited to draws of the MRP loans. The Loan Specialist is responsible for completing the mortgage loan process by initiating follow-up on required documentation and preparing the mortgage documents for settlement. Although the job may vary between locations, generally the position requires initiating telephone calls to applicants for follow-up, managing the various vendors necessary in the settlement process and resolving those items required by the underwriting process to settle the loan. This position reports to the retail branch manager and works closely with the senior loan processor and the retail loan closer.
