Sr. Mechanical EngineerHDR - Alexandria, VAHDR is currently in need of a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to work as a member of our Alexandria, VA Architecture office. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be expected to direct and supervise the work of the HVAC and mechanical design team through the schematic design, development, and contract documents of a project. They will write/edit mechanical specifications, and select equipment, systems, and devices. They will also coordinate with other disciplines for RFI's, change proposal requests, and change orders, as well as incorporating agreed upon changes into the project documents. They will also be expected to establish design standards and perform hands-on design tasks as needed. Participation in marketing presentations may also be required.
