Special Education Teacher - Chelsea ProgramSpurwink Services - Augusta, MEWe are seeking a Special Education Teacher for our Chelsea Program, working with students with developmental delays and severe emotional/behavioral challenges. This position requires the ability to adapt curriculum and to integrate it with activities of daily living and pre-vocational skills training. Minimum qualifications are Maine State certification as Teacher of Exceptional Students (282) or Teacher of Students with Severe Intellectual and Associated Impairments (286), as appropriate to the position and age level of students; 865 or 866 Voc - Special Needs I and/or II certification oreligibility for conditional certification as a special education teacher.
