California Senior Legal Hotline (SLH) is looking for AmeriCorps VISTA participants to work full time for a year on various aspects of capacity building. There may be a special position open for a computer science specialist -- please contact us separately if you might be interested in that.
SLH is an innovative program providing legal assistance to large numbers of California seniors by phone, using other technology as well. We are part of a larger nonprofit legal aid agency, Legal Services of Northern California. We are host for two Americorps*VISTA members and are seeking more tp replace them when they finish in August and December 2009, possibly earlier with some overlap.
