Provides, coordinates, supervises and responsibly directs the activities of various levels of assigned nurses and ancillary personnel in the provision of patient care utilizing both professional and supervision discretion and independent judgment. Works under general supervision. Recognizes the need for teamwork and functions as a multi-disciplinary team. Graduate of accredited school of nursing and current Illinois RN license. Minimum of 2-4 years clinical nurse experience required, 1-2 years minimum experience in the same type of unit as he/she is being hired preferred. CPR certification required.
