Front Desk AttendantCenter For Urban Community Services - New York, NYCUCS' Harlem Transitional Services provides chronically street homeless individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse assistance in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing. The program includes the 40-bed Kelly Transitional Living Community and the Housing Placement Center. The Housing First/Harm Reduction Model is used to engage people who otherwise may not accept services. Staff receive extensive training in Evidence Based Practices including Motivational Interviewing and Wellness Self-Management. Resp: The Full Time Front Desk Attendant will monitor the front door, answer telephones, escort clients to appointments, work with clients on activities of daily living, monitor alarm and safety systems, log in medication and perform light clerical duties.
