She provides expanded care to patients by exercising independent judgment related to patients' assessment and health care under the discretion of the Physician. She provides treatment based on advanced education and according to UHC's policies and procedures and protocols. Major duties: Obtains medical history, examines patients' records and findings, and makes initial assessment of patients. Counsels patients and provides health teaching for specific health problems.
