This position is responsible for instructing participants in the University of Minnesota Learn to Swim program. Participants in this program vary in age from infant beginner to adult experienced. The University of Minnesota Learn to Swim program instructs an average of 355 participants every seven weeks. - American Red Cross Certified in CPR/AED- PR, and First Aid. - Current enrollment as a full-time student at the University of Minnesota - Ability to work nights and/or weekends - Experience in teaching swimming classes and individuals of various ages and ability levels. - Background check is required with this position - Ability to instruct all swimming classes in designated session Water Safety Instruction (WSI)...
