Sports Anchor - Reporter
WOIO, the CBS affiliate in Cleveland OH, is accepting resumes for a full-time Sports Anchor/Reporter. Function as a live host of broadcasts assigned & assist in production writing of broadcasts. Write/produce stories covered, news updates, teases & promos assigned for broadcast. Participate in station promotional activities/appearances as required. Research, produce & narrate live sports segments & related news stories for inclusion on the news & other related broadcasts. Generate & execute story ideas under the direction of designated news mgrs. Responsible for the accuracy/integrity of stories & produce them in the same professional manner. Using ones creative abilities & exercising personal discretion & initiative, maintain lists of stories/ideas which can be developed for inclusion.
