JOB ANNOUNCEMENT [600-236] The Rockdale County Sheriffs Office is accepting applications for certified road deputies. Certified road deputies will patrol an assigned zone to detect and deter criminal activity and traffic violations, conduct interviews and provide assistance as necessary. Minimum starting pay rate is 14.96 per hour. Applicants must be: at least 21 years old, a citizen of the United States, a high school graduate or its equivalent, possess a valid Georgia drivers license, have some experience with computers and keyboarding skills.
