Nurse IIDept of State Health Services - Kerrville, TXNurse II The Staff Nurse II performs complex nursing work at the proficient or expert level in a state mental health hospital. Works with limited supervision from the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager and has considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Acts as Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Nurse Manager in his/her absence when necessary. Provides clinical supervision to Nurse I, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Mental Health Workers.
