Senior Property Fixed Asset AccountantKforce Finance & Accounting Staffing - Arlington, VAOur client is looking to bring on board a Senior Property Fixed Asset Accountant. Position Summary: * This position is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the Real Property Fixed Assets System (2 billion dollars worth) through the PeopleSoft Project Cost Module * Maintain a Fixed Asset sub-ledger within the Accounting Operations function, performing key monthly close functions for Fixed Assets, preparing regular and ad hoc analytics, and leading process improvement initiatives * Work directly with Facility/Project Managers and Project Engineers to capture vital information for the implementation of the PeopleSoft Cost Module Critical Responsibilities: * Maintain the Real Property Fixed Assets sub-ledger and ensure reconciliation to the General Ledger * Prepare journal...
