CPO-2632: Composite LeadSparta - Suffolk, VACPO-2632: Composite Lead Location: VA - Suffolk Clearance Requirement: No Clearance Required POSITION DESCRIPTION: The successful Lead Technician will perform layup, molding, bonding and assembly operations in support of production contracts and will provide leadership and support to a project team. Responsibilities: . Layup and cure composite parts using prepreg fabric, uni-tape, SMC, BMC and dry materials. . Assemble and bond components and parts. Prepare parts and perform bonding and finishing by filling, sanding, grinding, and cleaning. Fit components by cutting, deburring, trimming and hand working materials. . Provide oversight, guidance and leadership to the assigned project team(s). . Use hand and power tools, measurement devices and equipment to perform production operations. .
