General Mgr Wood SupplyTemple-Inland - Rome, GATemple-Inland is searching for a General Manager for our Wood Supply group who will lead the development and execution of raw material cost, product mix and inventory management related to sourcing strategies for the Eastern Basin? s linerboard mill, lumber, and (2) particleboard mills. Responsibilities of the General Manager include establishing and maintaining a ? pursuit of perfection? culture. Operational excellence is the expectation in every aspect of the position. These responsibilities include more specifically, planning/forecasting associated with targeted annual wood fiber purchasing, control of direct wood supply related operating/capital expenditures, maintenance of adequate security/audit controls as well as control of all wood supply overhead and mill services costs.
