F/T Physics/Astronomy InstructorCape Cod Community College - West Barnstable, MARESPONSIBILITIES: Full-time position in the Department of Natural Sciences and Applied Technology with responsibilities for: 1.Teaching the equivalent of 5 sections each semester from the Department s offerings in Physics I and II, University Physics I and II, Survey of Physics, Astronomy, and Special Topics in Astronomy. 2.Serving as academic advisor to approximately 18 students. 3.Holding a minimum of 4 office hours each week. 4.Serving on Department and College committees. 5.Participating actively in the Department s evaluation, development, and implementation of lecture and laboratory curriculum. 6.Working with the Department laboratory technician to coordinate inventory, supplies and laboratory set-ups. 7.Maintaining Physics and Astronomy equipment and setting up laboratory settings.
