The Medical Director will be responsible for all activities related to the Groups delivery of medical care and clinical services, e.g. cost management, laboratory & ancillary services, utilization review, quality assurance and medical protocol development. Ensures physician morale and discipline; reviews physician practice patterns and makes recommendations for improvement. Director must maintain an active clinical practice on a part-time basis and act in an advisory capacity on medical issues. Board Certified Physician with appropriate medical degree and licensure. Required- 5+ years experience in a practice environment and 3+ years experience in a Medical Group Administrative position.
