COPR09 - Correctional LieutenantWyoming Division of Human Resources - Lusk, WYServes as first line supervisor, reporting to the Security Captain; oversees daily correctional functions, including serving as one of four staff team leaders in charge of a team of security staff. Responsible for shift supervision, performance evaluations and other personnel actions. Performs inmate disciplinary processes. Records related data on inmate grievances and disciplinary procedures for the Warden. Meets with staff and inmates to resolve grievances. Responsible for daily shift management, including proper staffing levels, resource placement and utilization and assignment to emergency functions. Conducts security audits to ensure daily safety and security of institution. Conducts post inspections, daily checks of temporary protective custody inmates and maintains log book.
