Sales and Use Tax Accountant IInterstate Hotels & Resorts - Arlington, VAThe Sales and Use Tax Accountant 1 will be based at Interstate Hotels Resorts corporate office in Arlington VA (Ballston Metro Stop) The Sales and Use Tax Accountant 1 will be responsible for disseminating information related to tax laws and communicate with hotel personnel and accounting managers on compliance to avoid future liability. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state and local sales; use tax reporting requirements and laws. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of work experience preparing sales and use tax returns and/or a 4-Year business or related degree; excellent verbal/written communication skills; strong Excel, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
