13 yr old boy who loves music and basketball needs mentor!Youth Impact - Salem, ORYouth Impact is a non-profit agency that provides mentoring to at-risk youth in Marion and Polk counties. This is a little information about one of the youth who needs a mentor: "I'm a 13 year old youth who lives in the Salem-Keizer area. I'm really into video games, music, and drawing. Also, I like dodgeball, basketball, boxing, and wrestling. My mom says that I need a positive male role model in my life because my dad lives in another state so I don't get to see him much. I want a mentor because it would be cool to have someone who is fun to be with. I need to focus all of my energy into doing positive things. That's what I did with my grades and they have improved in the last four weeks. One goal that I have for the future is to graduate from high school and then go on to college.
