Midland Lutheran College is seeking a Library Director committed to academic excellence and to enhancing the role of the colleges library. This position will begin in the fall 2010.
The Director must have the vision and capacity to develop the library for the future, and the ability to transform the library into a high tech learning commons while maintaining a strong commitment to work with multiple audiences and demonstrate sensitivity to different viewpoints.
Requirements:
- A Master's of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited institution is required;
- a second advanced degree is desirable.
- This position requires five years of progressively responsible experience in an academic library.
