Air Force JAG Direct Appointment ProgramAir Force - Lincoln, NEAttorneys and students who have completed their second year of law school may apply for a direct appointment as a Judge Advocate. Applicants must be citizens of the United States. Selection is contingent upon graduation from an ABA-approved law school and admission to practice law in the highest court of any state, territory of the United States, or a federal court. All applicants must complete an Air Force medical examination and be medically qualified by the Air Force Surgeon General prior to commissioning.
