Console Operator (Part time)Sutter Health - Burlingame, CAThe Console Operator is responsible for the prompt and courteous completion of day-to day tasks at the Switchboard and Information Desk. The position answers the PBX attendant console, routes calls, communicates emergency codes, pages and coordinates communications using dispatching system. The Console Operator also assists as directed in the training of new staff, paging duties, on-call lists, procedure changes and other items that effect the daily workflow of the console operators. Qualifications High School or equivalent. PBX Console (Switchboard) experience preferred or equivalent in customer service, preferably in a hospital or similar setting.
