Mechanical Engineer - Long Term with BenefitsTfe - Aiken, SCMECHANICAL ENGINEER DUTIES: Perform inspection and evaluation of systems and structures within existing facilities at the Savannah River Site. Primary responsibilities will include: Pre-inspection planning, including reviewing existing drawings, equipment files, maintenance records, etc, and developing data collection plans. Facility and system walk downs and discussions with facility operating and maintenance personnel, identifying components, systems and structures, and inspecting and evaluating. Documenting the facility inspection, justifying evalutions and results of inspection, including identifying severity of deficiencies and estimating urgency of repairs and upcoming maintenance.
