Postdoctoral/Research Associate positions to study Molecular Basis of Genetic DiseasesOhio State University - Columbus, OHNIH funded Research Associate/Postdoctoral positions are available for 2-3 years to study cellular and molecular mechanisms by which signaling kinases regulate development of diet-induced dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis and insulin resistance/diabetes (Mol. Cell. Biol. 26:1307, 2006; Biochem. Pharmacol. 75:457, 2007; J. Biol. Chem. 283:231, 2008; Hepatology 49:1525, 2009). A primary focus of the work will involve detailed analyses of novel genetic changes and transcriptional modification in specific genes in high fat diet-induced obesity, hepatic steatosis, and development of insulin resistance.
