INPATIENT CODING INTERNAL AUDITORMacneal Hospital - Berwyn, ILReporting to the Regional Coding Manager is responsible for conducting secondary review of inpatient (IP) claims per Vanguard Policy 12-0902C HDM 3M Audit Expert IP Coding Compliance Review. RHIT, RHIA, or CCS required; five (5) years inpatient coding experience; understanding of 3M Audit Expert System; detail knowledge and understanding of MSDRGS and OIG work plan as it relates to correct coding and MSDRG assignment; must be able to use standard office equipment and information systems; and, understanding of the facilities information technology systems: Admitting, Charge/order entry, ARMS/ Coding Abstracting System Xactimed/ Bill Scrubber, and, APC grouper logic.
